Title: Seat for a Viewpoint
Location:
Materials: Old sandstone block
Description: Lettering designed to fit the space offered by one side of a discarded block of stone large enough to serve as a base for a bench seat. The words are written in the form of a ‘haiku’, a type of short, often enigmatic poem favoured in Japan, and refer to what may be seen from the viewpoint at both ends of the day.
