Description: The retiring Head of a primary school decided she would like to give something to mark her years there in the form of a seat which could be used for outdoor story telling in fine weather, and as a gathering place for children at playtime. She chose the theme of friendship for the bench and this was depicted in ceramic tiles, made by Yr.5 and 6 pupils within the school, which were let into the side pieces which connect the various staggered elements of the seats.
