Description: The names and dates of this young man, killed in a car accident, are carved in what is sometimes called ‘reverse’ lettering – where the spaces between the letters is carved out and the lettering remains as a subtle part of the smooth face of the stone. The enigmatic words below are taken from something Alistair had himself written, seeming curiously appropriate, and are underscored with a ‘moving line’.
